ERRATUM
The title of the article by Jing-Hsien Chen, Tsui-Hwa Tseng,
Yung-Chyan Ho, Hui-Hsuan Lin, Wea-Lung Lin, and Chau-Jong Wong
in volume 76, issue 1, (
Toxicological Sciences, 76, 83–90,
2003) should have appeared as "Gaseous Nitrogen Oxides Stimulate
Cell Cycle Progression by Retinoblastoma Phosphorylation via
Activation of Cyclins/Cdks." The third sentence of this article’s
abstract should have appeared as "In this study we show that
NOx gas stimulates MRC-5 cell proliferation by retinoblastoma
(Rb) phosphorylation via activation of cyclin-cell division
protein kinase (cdk) complexes." The third sentence of the article’s
second paragraph should have appeared as "The associations of
cyclin D1 and cdk4, cyclin E, and cdk2, and cyclin A and cdk2
have also been shown to phosphorylate retinoblastoma (Rb) in
the G0/G1 and the G1/S transitions of the cell cycle (Weinberg,
1995)." The author regrets the errors.
